2022 Georgia Quarterfinal Playoff Results

The 2022 Georgia High School Football State Semifinals are set.

On Friday night, all four reigning champions who are still in the field of 64 won their quarterfinal matches.

Two-time 5A titleholder Warner Robins continued to bounce back from his 1-4 start with an overtime win over the national-ranked Creekside. The Demons won 31-28 on Daniel Barber’s last game of field goal.

WR started the season ranked 22nd on the National Preseason Rankings in High School Football America, powered by play NFL football. Creekside, which entered the game ranked No. 68 in the nation, finishes 2022 with a 10-3 record.

The 2021 4A champion, Benedictine, reached the state semi-finals for a third straight season with a 34-14 win over Stockbridge. Next up for the cadets next week is Troup County.

In 3A, Cedar Grove, ranked 30th in the nation, continues his quest for a fifth state title in six years with an impressive 30-0 shutout on Savannah’s No. 243 Calvary Day. It was the first loss of the season for the Cavaliers, who end the year 11-1.

Fitzgerald is in the 2A semifinals after beating Rockmart in OT 21-14.
