With Georgia No. 1 set to play Georgia Tech in its last regular season game at home, Georgia’s strength and conditioning coaches are back for their weekly video series, titled “#throwdownthursday,” in which the staff perform an exercise or workout, that drives her.
In this week’s issue, Scott Sinclair (hired by Kirby Smart upon his arrival), Tersoo Uhaa (hired 2020), assistant Lonnie Brown (hired March), and assistant Jordan Barber (hired January) chose to honor Thanksgiving by the World’s Strongest Man Contest turkey style. Check out their latest efforts in the video below.

The Bulldogs are now 77-15 under seventh-year head coach Kirby Smart, with a 48-9 record in conference play. Georgia achieves a 16-6 away win over Kentucky and Georgia Tech a 21-17 away win over North Carolina. The line for the Week 13 matchup has Georgia as a 33.5-point home favorite over Georgia Tech. Georgia is given a 98.7 percent chance of winning the game by ESPN’s FPI. Kickoff takes place at 12 p.m. ET, with ESPN televising the matchup of the in-state rivalry.
“WWe’re at Georgia Tech, a program I know a lot about,” Smart said Monday. “And a coach I have a lot of respect for. Known Brent [Key] For a long time. He played at Tech while I played at Georgia. We played against each other. And we spent some summers together. And I have a lot of respect for him as a coach.
You know, he was the O-Line coach in Alabama one of the years we played them. And they did a really good job. His offensive lines are always physical, make up for it. There’s a lot of intimacy with their staff, with ours, with Chip Long, with Cheney, with all the people that were over there.
And so they play really well now. They’re playing really hard now. And I think he did a great job of getting these guys to compete.”
