Georgia Network to End Sexual Assault Launches Think Like a Girl App | business

ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Aug. November 2022–

Georgia Network to End Sexual Assault (GNESA) today announced the launch of its new app, Think Like a Girl. The application, developed with funding from the Georgia Department of Public Health through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) corporate agreement CDC-RFA-CE19-1902, is the organization’s first app-based resource designed specifically for girls became .

Think Like a Girl aims to be a resource for girls to support their individual self-determination. Over the course of 21 days, users of the app will be guided through various tasks designed to encourage girls to gain confidence, make good decisions, give to others and find their voice. The app also provides them with a safe place to journal and is designed to help them develop long-term positive habits and mindsets.

“We want girls across the state of Georgia to take back the phrase ‘think like a girl’ and remove the negative stigma and connotation that traditionally comes with it, hence the app’s name,” said Jennifer Bivins, President and CEO of GNESA. “Healthy relationships start with empowering girls to see their worth. The prompts and exercises the app guides girls through are designed to help them develop a positive mindset and understand the strength and confidence that comes with thinking like a girl.”

The Think Like a Girl app is available on the Apple App Store and Android App Store via Google Play. It is not intended to replace medical, mental or psychological professional services.
