Fall High School Esports State Championships Head to Steel City | news

HARRISBURG – For the first time in the organization’s history, the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Esports Association (PIEA) will host an eSports State Championship event in Pittsburgh to highlight the growth of the PIEA and the impact of eSports on high schools in western Pennsylvania.

Currently, PIEA has nearly 140 schools in its network, nearly 30 percent of which are from western Pennsylvania, including the Bradford Area School District. For the Fall 2022 season, the PIEA reached its largest number of teams, competing from all corners of the Commonwealth.
