Wrestling rankings for the week of November 21st

PHILADELPHIA – Nine wrestlers from the University of Pennsylvania wrestling team are nationally ranked in the latest college wrestling rankings. The Quakers are represented in nine weight classes after their second weekend of competition. As a team, Red and Blue received national rankings from Intermat (#15), Wrestling Insider Newsmag (#20), the National Wrestling Coaches Association (#21), and Wrestlestat (#21).

senior citizens Anthony Artalona (157), Carmen Ferrante (141), Ben Goldin (285) and Doug Zapf (149), Juniors Michael Colaiocco (133), Luke Revano (165) and Cole Urbas (197) and sophomores Ryan Miller (125) and Nick Incontrera (174) are all ranked in the latest college wrestling rankings.

Artalona, ​​Colaiocco, and Zapf all have the highest ranks. Ninth by Wrestlestat is Zapf at 149 pounds. Artalona and Colaiocco are both ranked 10th in FloWrestling. Artalona is ranked #10 by Wrestling Insider Newsmag and Colaiocco is ranked #10 by Intermat.


Ferrante enters the rankings for the first time this season at number 32 from Intermat.

The Quakers are headed for three duels after the Thanksgiving holiday, beginning with #2 Iowa on Saturday in Iowa City. After the first duel of the season, the team returns to the Garden State Grapple on December 4th at the Prudential Center with duels against No. 19 Rutgers and No. 14 Wisconsin East.
