Car accidents in Missouri
Auto accidents are a common cause of injury in the state of Missouri. Unfortunately, thousands of people are hospitalized every month due to injuries sustained in collisions. Unfortunately, there are several things that contribute to the fact that accidents occur so frequently in our state. Some of the most common are distractions, red lights, and drivers not yielding to others.
Distractions can come in many forms, but anything that takes your attention off the road is potentially dangerous. This includes talking or texting on your phone, eating or drinking, changing radio stations and even talking to passengers.
Running a red light is another common cause of accidents. Even if you think you have enough time to cross the intersection before the light turns red, it’s not worth the risk. Just slow down and stop at the line like everyone else.
After all, the absence is a common cause of accidents, especially at intersections. If you do not have the right of way, yielding to oncoming traffic or pedestrians can help avoid an accident.
If you were injured as a result of a traffic accident, a Buffalo auto accident attorney can help you file for monetary compensation for the damages you suffer. After your accident, you may be able to claim back monetary compensation for medical expenses, lost earnings, and more.
